For Buyers
How do I download photos I've purchased?
After purchase, you'll receive a download link via email. Click the link to download your photos instantly. Links expire for security but you are able to request a new one.
If you have created an account with us, you can access all your purchases in one place at surfshot.app/account under purchase history.
What can I do with purchased photos?
You can use them for personal use, social media, printing, and sharing with friends. Commercial use requires additional licensing - contact us for details.
What if I'm not happy with my purchase?
We offer a no question refund for any images you haven't downloaded yet. If you've downloaded the high resolution image, unfortunately you cannot request a refund.

How do I find photos from my local surf spot?
Use our search filters to find photos by location, date, wave size, or photographer. You can also browse by region. At the moment we are only working in Portugal while we grow.

How do I start selling my photos?
- Sign up for a photographer account
- Complete the onboarding process with Stripe
- Upload your best surf photos
- Set your prices and start earning
How much can I earn?
You set your own prices. We are working on providing insights to you on what prices work best for your area.
When do I get paid?
Payments are processed monthly via Stripe. You'll receive your earnings minus our platform fee.
What makes a good surf photo?
- Sharp focus on the surfer
- Good lighting and composition
- Clear water and wave action
- Unique angles or moments
- High resolution

Can I request a new feature or provide feedback?
Yes, absolutely! Use our contact form to contact us. We are a growing business and will only succeed if you as the customer and photographer love SurfShot. If you want to share anything, please do not hesitate to contact us, we love to hear from you!
Is Surf Shot free to use?
- For customers, browsing and searching is completely free. You only pay when you buy photos.
- For photographers, uploading your sessions is completely free, you only pay a platform fee when you make a sale.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Every photo has a "Report" button when you click to view it full size. Click it to flag content that violates our content policy. We review all reports within 24 hours.
Do you have a mobile app?
Not yet, but our website works great on mobile devices.
